The DeepSeek Plunge

The entry of DeepSeek into the arena of AI models has brought quite a shakeup, to say the least. This blog post serves the sole purpose of proving a point that benefits the startup spirit-tech company I cofounded. Full disclosure upfront is always the best way to lay a truthful foundation and build trust. So, if you’re reading this, it’s to promote and advance the mission of the spirit-tech startup I help lead.

DeepSeek’s impact has intensified pressure on the LLM and AI industry in the U.S. This validates the core argument of my startup: people are the highest form of technology. When DeepSeek launched, it immediately erased $600 billion in market value from one of America’s largest tech companies. This screams what our spirit-tech startup has always emphasized: sky-high valuations for these companies are overpriced.

Here’s why. First, as DeepSeek proved, giants charge premium prices in an ever-changing sector—yet a competitor can release something better and cheaper to destabilize market bullies. Our stance mirrors this reality: soulful humans are the ultimate technology. Without the human component, advanced tech loses its purpose. These corporations rely on projections of human behavior—none can sustain business cycles without assuming how people will act.

The DeepSeek plunge highlights two critical truths:

1. The weakness of overvalued tech giants banking on predictable human behavior in a volatile competitive landscape.

2. The strength of people, individually and collectively, as the true drivers of progress.

Our spirit-tech startup is built on the idea that people must recognize and harness their individual and collective power. This is a commonsense, "commando" approach to reclaiming agency. By spreading this mindset among like-minded individuals, we build common ground—a foundation for a spirit-tech movement with unlimited potential to restore balance.

The DeepSeek ripple effect reveals a life-sized puzzle piece: If people reject a device, platform, or technology (even robots), it loses momentum and vanishes. Our startup exists to empower industries by activating this human advantage—the "highest technology." Big companies are nothing without people and their personal spirit-tech. We identify this truth and gather those ready to invest their spirit-tech into reshaping the future.
